Cypriot properties with 40 per cent discount off list price

Assetz International has negotiated major discounts on a selection of holiday apartments in Cyprus that have already been built. One example is the 38 per cent discount for 2-bedroom apartments at the Peyia Village development in Coral Bay, near Paphos for just £80,000.

Brits Opt For A Life In France

According to new research from Halifax International, France is the most popular overseas destination for British expatriates to live in the world.

Sixteen per cent of British expatriates are currently residing in France, followed by Spain at 10%. The most popular overseas destination for people to move to outside of Europe was the USA at eight per cent, followed by Australia at four per cent.

A dream home near Marbella

Guildford-based British Airways cabin crew member, Simon Jordan, his wife Donna and 12 year old son Oliver had long dreamed of owning a holiday home in Spain.

“We had always been fans of new build homes when purchasing properties in the UK and were keen to carry on down this route when house hunting in Spain,” said Donna. “We wanted to deal with a UK house builder for added security and Taylor Woodrow de España fitted the bill.”

The couple had initially looked at homes built by Taylor Woodrow de España when they first started their search in 2004 but had found that the homes were a little out of their price range. Roll on four years and a downturn in the economic climate and the homes were no longer out of reach. In fact they could now afford a quality two bedroom apartment rather than the one bedroom apartment they had previously purchased off-plan.

Brazil – a new property destination

Brazil has the 10th largest economy in the world with a National plan for tourism to attract nine million tourists each year. Around 1.7 million Brazilians already spend their holidays in Natal, the capital of Brazil. This is a country that is moving forward with zeal and excitement that reflects the character of this amazing nation. Natal, known as ‘The City of the Sun’ is officially the safest in Brazil.
